Southbay magazine celebrated its premiere food issue at R10 Social House with nearly 250 guests.

El Gringo is a family-oriented Mexican restaurant, first opened in 1986 in Hermosa Beach. Owner/operator Bill Graw has since opened two additional locations and more recently launched a Taco Cart catering company called Gringo Urban Assault Catering (aka G.U.A.C. Taco).

From Market to Menu

A close friend of mine recently revealed that she is a committed locavore. As I am a new mom the second time around these days, I wondered if the sleep deprivation had kicked in with a vengeance. Locavore? Was that some kind of mentally ill person of Hispanic descent who consumes both meat and vegetables? (Yes, that’s where my brain goes.)
