A Home for HOME

For many of us, the office is a second home … it’s where we create, collaborate and cultivate our professional lives most days of the year. It’s no surprise that businesses have caught on to the benefits of a “lifestyle” office—one where employees not only work but also play.

After several years occupying two neighboring cottages just south of Hermosa pier, Moon Tide Media, creator of Southbay HOME, packed up shop and headed to its new home in El Segundo on the lobby floor of the Sepulveda Boulevard PCT building. With the help of a talented design team—including James Meyer and Jason Alm of LeanArch, contractor Mike McGregor and CBRE project manager Mark Hansen—we now populate a beautiful, open-concept workspace splashed with rich woods, floor-to-ceiling windows and home-worthy modern fixtures. Highlights include a full open kitchen with working beer tap and a shuffleboard table for happy hour antics.

If our bosses were hoping we’d spend more time at the office, they’ve succeeded. We couldn’t be happier with our new home.
