Bright Side

I had planned to meet a friend at The Yellow Vase a while back. Being my first visit, I assumed that the quaint, yellow cottage on Silver Spur was my destination … only to learn my breakfast date was waiting for me at the one in Riviera Village.

I had planned to meet a friend at The Yellow Vase a while back. Being my first visit, I assumed that the quaint, yellow cottage on Silver Spur was my destination … only to learn my breakfast date was waiting for me at the one in Riviera Village.

It was then I learned about the incredible presence these charming café-meets-boutique venues have in the South Bay. Following successful openings in Rolling Hills Estates and Redondo Beach, the expanding business recently opened another shop in Malaga Cove. At The Yellow Vase you get a little of everything. The bakery is stocked with the most delightful pastries, on trend with yummy cupcakes, colorful French macarons and gorgeous cakes. The café serves breakfast and lunch favorites, from brioche French toast to grilled paninis. Then there are the flowers, a specialty of the company. Mixed in with other wonderful boutique items and treats, their elegant arrangements would make the perfect holiday centerpiece or special gift. Also, check out their catering services for your seasonal entertaining needs.
