The Links at Terranea is a nine-hole, oceanfront, par-3 golf course with a spectacular practice facility and golf school. It was ranked the number-two par-3 course in the country by Golf magazine. Terranea has four PGA golf professionals and a state-of-the-art golf studio with golf simulation, video analysis and club fitting. The club offers public play and membership with five-star service.

Director of golf operations Buddy Nichols says he was born to be a golf professional. He is passionate about the game and derives true satisfaction from helping clients get the most out of their games and providing an unforgettable golf experience. With more than 20 years experience in the field, this Class A PGA golf pro has worked at semi-private, public and resort facilities and has a wide range of experience in teaching, merchandising, event operations and playing professional tournament golf.

How do you stay on top of the latest trends and advances in your field?

“We have monthly meeting with the PGA of America’s Southern California section and also have constant news articles and shows annually.”

What does the future hold for your company?

“Major growth.”

“We like to offer PGA golf clinics and junior golf fundraisers to promote the future of our game.”

What do you like to do for fun, when you’re not at work?

“Beach, golf, travel and spend time with my wife and kids.”
