Paint It Pink
October 5 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm$1.00
Dear Friends, Family, Neighbors and Colleagues,
Residing and working in the El Segundo Community is a great honor for me and my family. I cherish the professional and personal relationships I’ve established over the years. Our quaint beach community has given me so much. Finding a way to give back was the least I could do.
Last year, my team and I set our focus towards raising tens of thousands of dollars for charity. I’m proud that 100% of the proceeds were donated. The success of our charitable experience encouraged me to formalize a foundation focused exclusively on giving back and goodwill.
I’m proud to announce the establishment of the Tower60 Foundation.
Our mission is simple…to be a fervent force in giving and goodwill.
El Segundo’s Tower60 lifeguard station has stood as a symbol of hope and helpfulness at El Segundo Beach and I am honored to appoint Tower60 as the official Foundation that serves as the goodwill ambassador for my mission.
My first focus for the Tower60 Foundation is an unprecedented upcoming event! We have partnered with the City of El Segundo, the Los Angeles County City Board of Supervisors, as well as the Department of Beaches and Harbors and will be painting Tower60 pink in honor of breast cancer awareness.
We’re inviting Southern California residents to join us on the sand at El Segundo Beach all day Saturday, October 5th to pick up a paint brush and paint Tower60 pink! The tower will stay pink for the month of October in support of breast cancer awareness month.
This is a first-of-its-kind event in Southern California!
Paint it Pink is an event we cannot accomplish alone.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 for breast cancer awareness and prevention. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to City of Hope. Founded in 1913, City of Hope is a National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center. For over a decade, City of Hope has been deemed one of the nation’s elite cancer hospitals by U.S. News & World Report and is currently recognized as the leading cancer hospital in the West.
We are requesting a starting donation of just $1. You read that correct…your dollar donation secures your spot to paint Tower60 pink! Simply visit www.tower60.com to register now! Please be sure to share with your friends, family, neighbors and colleagues. Let’s all come together and Paint it Pink in support of breast cancer awareness!
