Norcross Family Medicine is a small, personalized family medicine office, owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Dr. Tim Norcross and Dr. Gwenne Norcross for the past five years. The practice operates under a direct-pay model and charges a yearly membership fee for their medical services, allowing the doctors to see fewer patients and offer extended office visits, house calls, hospital care and email communication. “We develop close relationships with our patients using this model, and it has been statistically proven to reduce ER visits and improve both morbidity and mortality,” says Dr. Tim. Both doctors attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA, where they met, and completed family medicine residencies at the University of Arizona’s St. Joseph’s Hospital.
What would you like potential patients to know about you?

“Family medicine (which encompasses all ages), preventative medicine, sports medicine, women’s health, bio-identical hormone restoration and hospital medicine.”
What do you like to do for fun, when you’re not at work?

Tell us about your family and your background.
“Dr. Tim grew up in Palos Verdes. He comes from a strong family background of medicine; his father was a local general surgeon, his brother is a family physician in Long Beach and his grandfather was a chiropractor. Dr. Gwenne is originally from Wisconsin. She moved to the South Bay in 1999 for medical school and instantly fell in love with the beach cities! We have two young daughters, a dog and a cat.”
How do you give back to your community?
“Each year we help sponsor The South Bay Dozen, which supports The Jimmy Miller Foundation. We support our local schools through donations. And we give community lectures.”
