“We want people to not only look good, but feel good in what they are wearing,” says Kristine D’Errico, co-owner of one of Manhattan Beach’s newest boutiques, Bella Beach.

“We want people to not only look good, but feel good in what they are wearing,” says Kristine D’Errico, co-owner of one of Manhattan Beach’s newest boutiques, Bella Beach.

Kristine’s family moved to the South bay in 1978, so she definitely considers herself a “Manhattan Beach girl.” “I love it when people that I have known my entire life come into our stores, and we get to see them and their families.”

Bella Beach carries something for everyone, from special occasion dresses to comfortable loungewear. The store is full of recognizable brands like Robert Rodriguez, Catherine Malandrino and Juicy Couture.

“We have a beach lifestyle in the South Bay,” Kristine says, “and we definitely cater to that. But we don’t sacrifice style for comfort at our stores.”

In June, Kristine and her husband Tony opened Bella Beach Kids next door with partner Rosie McNamara. On October 25, Bella Beach Kids and Goose Creek invited local parents and children to help decorate a handmade rocking horse to be donated to Richstone Family Center. This charming holiday gift is one of the store’s many adorable offerings.
