In 1927, the home and surrounding 20 acres of parkland were acquired by the City of Los Angeles and have since become a National Historic Landmark. Today, 18 of the house’s beautifully decorated rooms have been restored to their Victorian glory and are open to the public.

Continuing a holiday tradition, this year’s Victorian Christmas celebration will take place on December 5 and December 6 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Enjoy the museum’s annual holiday festival, including self-guided tours, entertainment, a horse-drawn trolley, complimentary cookies and cider plus activities for the tykes.
