On March 15, The South Bay Police and Fire Memorial Foundation will tee off the first round of golfers at 7 a.m. at the Los Verdes Country Club in Rancho Palos Verdes.

In its 16th year, this worthwhile tournament helps raise funds that provide financial support for families of disabled safety personnel in nine South Bay cities. Special guests this year include Honorary Chair, local Manhattan Beach resident and comedian, Bill Engvall, and football hall-of-famer and owner of Manhattan Beach’s Toyota/Scion dealership, John Elway.
