Why did you choose medicine as your life's work?
“My profession is my passion. I love what I do and look forward to coming to work every day. I knew I wanted to be a doctor when I was 7 years old. I made my own doctor bag from a blue lunch box, complete with Band-Aids, tape and first aid cream.”
Tell us about the staff at your practice.
“I employ three full-time, dedicated and well-trained people–all who have been with me for many years. Attention to our patients is their number-one priority. We welcome new patients and their families.”
What do you like to do for fun, when you’re not at work?
“Traveling and fishing in Baja, Mexico.”
What do you like about the South Bay?
“I’ve been here since 1976, and I love the location–especially the close proximity to the ocean.
Who is your professional role model?
“My late uncle, for whom I am named–Dr. James V. McNulty, an OB-GYN in LA for decades.”
