MOR Financial Services, Inc. is a California asset-based lender that offers borrowers short-term loans for real estate investments for up to three years, raising and funding over $40 million from accredited investors in the past 12 months yielding on average a return of 10.5%. 

The firm also offers equity partnership deals on construction, home rehabilitation and long-term rentals. MOR Financial was established in 2006 by principal broker and CEO Sean Morsi. CFO Ajay Mehra joined as a partner in mid-2009. Both Sean and Ajay have worked in the real estate lending arena for more than a decade each.

Real estate has proven to be a great investment tool decade after decade. At the end of the day, you can see it, you can touch it, and you can stand on it. It is scarce and is always worth something!”

What kind of transactions would a typical private investor fund?

“Our borrowers range from commercial properties to long-term buy-and-hold investors and professional flippers that do 50+ properties per year. They include HGTV star Tarek El Moussa from the hit show Flip or Flop and multi-million dollar investment purchases at the well-recognized Ritz-Carlton Residences at LA Live.”
