Sports Medicine

We treat sports-related and recreational injuries of the shoulder, knee, hip, elbow, neck and spine. While we are the official doctors of the Los Angeles Kings hockey team and USC intercollegiate athletes, we treat every patient with exceptional, personalized care.

We provide a full range of operative and nonoperative services in a state-of-the-art facility in the South Bay at the Toyota Sports Performance Center. We aim to provide a seamless experience through diagnosis, treatment and recovery with a focus on minimizing the anxiety and pain often associated with musculoskeletal injury.

Performance Technology

Our team prescribes individualized rehabilitation programs that utilize best-in-class performance technology including 3D motion tracking, biomechanical force plate analysis and digital accelerometry to optimize return-to-play and prevent future injury.

Treatment Philosophy

The most successful outcomes are achieved by treating the whole patient. In addition to physical factors, there are often social, emotional and psychologic elements that can influence a patient’s recovery from an injury. When an individual cannot participate in an activity they love or a sport that defines their career, they may experience tremendous stress and anxiety. We work to make our patients feel confident in their care—a powerful force in recovery.

Top Tips

Many of us have curtailed our normal workouts due to restrictions resulting from the pandemic. We recommend staying active however possible—going for long walks or a jog, bike riding and even getting in the ocean for a swim. It is a great time to focus on recovery and mindfulness. Take an online yoga or meditation class and spend 10 minutes at the end of your day stretching and doing breathwork. These practices will improve your fitness and your mood.
