Our Hollister Ranch project is a Spanish-style home on the Santa Barbara coast. Our client’s primary request was to optimize the home’s panoramic ocean views. To accomplish this, we enlarged the openings and used steel windows and doors by Euroline. To open the space, we eliminated a wall that originally divided the room into two spaces and painted the walls a creamy Windborne White by Farrow & Ball. Additionally, we replaced the stone throughout the home with 10-inch-wide European French cut oak, plastered the fireplace, and added an arched built-in. Our neutral palette with hints of green gives it a calming natural feel and ties in with the outdoors. The furnishings are comfortable and family-friendly for large gatherings.
