The seventh annual fundraising event brings stationary cycling to the gorgeous outdoors of Manhattan Beach. Ride in place with an ocean view and help support cancer charities. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m., Manhattan Beach Pier
A passionate advocate for polar and marine biodiversity, Paul has spent most of his adult life working in the Arctic and Antarctica as a photojournalist. As a guest of the Distinguished Speakers Series, he will discuss the hardships and personal danger in pursuit of intimate and powerful images of iconic wildlife. 8 p.m., Redondo Performing Arts Center
Manhattan Wine Auction
The Manhattan Wine Auction, now in its 25th year, is the largest charity wine auction in Southern California and welcomes nearly 2,000 guests to the best in food and wine in a festive atmosphere. Live and silent auctions will feature fine and collectible wines and spirits, extraordinary trips, one-of-a-kind dinners and experiences, sports and golf opportunities, and more. 4:30 p.m., Manhattan Country Club
