On Saturday, November 23rd, family, friends and people from all over the US came together at Seaside Lagoon in Redondo Beach to raise money to support Eric Stevens fight to #axeALS. The event featured CornHole Tournament, a Silent & Live Auction, live entertainment, food/drinks & TV’s to watch College Football.
On Thursday, October 17th, The Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce hosted the return of The Best of Manhattan – A Toast to the Top! at the Westdrift Hotel in Manhattan Beach. The 6th Annual Best of Manhattan, sponsored by First Republic Bank, brought together the best in our community for a night of celebration in honor of the individuals and businesses that make a difference in the Manhattan Beach community.
Walk With Sally’s 13th annual WLWN on July 20th celebrated their last year on the top of the Plaza while raising over $450,000 in support children of loved ones affected by cancer. Guests danced to live music from The Boogie Knights while enjoying bites from over 30 restaurants from across L.A., along with craft cocktails from our friends at Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Califino Tequila. The silent and live auctions were a huge success, both raising more than ever before! The funds raised will help Walk With Sally grow from supporting families in 53 cities to meeting the demand from children and families impacted by cancer in all 88 cities of Los Angeles County!
The Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation (JMMF) 2019 Benefiesta fundraiser was hosted at the fabulous home of Scott and Liz Whitehead in Manhattan Beach. The funds raised by this event will help the at risk youth, veterans and Marines that are served by JMMF, experience the healing power of the ocean.

Friday night at Resin Gallery we celebrated Mira Costa High School’s 19th Annual Art Show where over 100 pieces of painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics and mixed media were displayed. Thank you to Michael Lee Architects, Coastal Ortho, and El Camino College who sponsored this event. It was a wonderful night!
The much-anticipated HOME Issue came off of the presses and was revealed the very same day to hand-selected members of the home industry at Artistic Habitat in Redondo Beach. Artistic Habitat owners Carlos, Monica, and Katja Muller opened their doors for locals to network amongst their eclectic, unique, and artisan home pieces from around the world.
